Post Card

This is a postcard sent from Elsie Miller to her mother, Elizabeth Miller in 1911. At the time Elsie was with her sister and brother inlaw in Ava, New York. Her bother inlaw was the minister at Ava Methodist Church.

It reads.

Dear Mother & all -------------- July 18th 1911 how is the weather down home, it is cold here so you need not worry about it being to warm. It has been a fine day today. Gennie washed and is sewing on her dress now. Louis and Walter is just coming to the barn with a load of hay so they can find enough to do! Guess this is the road that I live on but you cant see the parsnage it is just out of site. From Elsie with love.
