"Emily!!" said Sarah.
AJ and Brian were laughing hysterically. They couldn’t believe that she would jump off the second story of the house.
"Oh my god," said Howie.
"God help us!!!" said Sarah and Trisha, at the same time.
"Why did you have to go and do that?" asked Ashley. "Your such an ass!"
"Whatever!!!" said Emily, as she hopped out of the pool and scurried inside.
Brian and AJ immediately stopped laughing. AJ then spoke, "Now, I haven’t known you that long, but that was quite rude. It didn’t hurt any of us what she just did. You’re just like Kevin always ruining the fun." With that AJ, went in search of Emily.
Sarah had already found Emily, she was in her room "Why does she always have to ruin it!!!! I hate her."
Just then AJ walked in the room and said, " Don’t say hate!"
"AJ!!!" shrieked Emily.
"What did I do?" he asked.
"Nothing, I was just surprised to see you in here. After what I did, and then Ashley making me look like an ass."
"I’m gonna go now." Said Sarah. Walking out of the room.
"Why would you think that??" he asked.
"That’s just what I’m used to I guess. That’s how I lose a lot of the guys I…." She trailed off before saying that she liked him out loud.
"That you what?"
"Like" she turned away from him while replying.
"You like me? I thought I only had those feelings for you."
"Yeah, I like you. You like me!?!"
"Of course, can I ask you a question?" he asked.
"You just did would you like to ask another?"
"Yeah, will you be my girlfriend?"
"Umm, I’ll have to think about it, I mean …Kris… never mind….sure, I’d love too."
"Great," said AJ, ignoring the name Kris coming up in conversation.
They embraced each other and AJ planted a quick kiss on her cheek.
"Come on, forget about Ashley. Let’s go have fun." He said, cheering her up.
"Okay," she replied.
They walked down the stairs and outside holding hands. Everyone stared at them.
"Something you want to tell us??" questioned Howie.
"Uhh, no, oh yeah….we’re getting married!!" said AJ trying so hard not to crack.
"Yeah," said Emily. She watched as all mouths hung open.
"What???" said Kevin, walking up to them.
Emily and AJ looked at each other, and at the same time they yelled "Gotcha!!!"
"That wasn’t funny!!!" said Brian.
"But we are going out," replied AJ.
"That’s great!!" said Trisha. When she finished the doorbell rang.
"I’ll go get it!!" said Trisha.
"I’ll come with you!" said Howie.
Trisha and Howie went to the door together. Trisha opened the door and when she saw who it was, she called Emily in the room.
"What??? Oh my god!!! Kris!!!"
"Emily!!!!" he said.
"Oh-no!!" said Howie and Trisha in unison. Kris pecked Emily on the cheek.
"What’s up?" he asked.
"Nothing, but how come you didn’t tell me you were coming?" she asked.
"Because I wanted to surprise you, and I know you just love surprises."
"Kris, why are you doing this?? We broke up remember??"
"Yeah, I remember. Unfortunately."
"Then why??"
"Because, I still love you" he leaned in to kiss her.
"Kris. I can’t"
"Why?? I don’t understand!!"
"Kris, I have a boyfriend!!"
"So, ditch him." he said. Neither of them knew AJ was listening on the other side of the wall.
"No!"
"Maybe this will change your mind," he said leaning over and kissing her. Emily had wished Howie and Trisha hadn’t left the room.
"Kris stop!!! I love, AJ" she said, as she pushed him away.
"I can’t" he said.
"Yes, you can, and you are going to right now." said AJ, revealing himself from behind the wall.
"Who the hell do you think you are?" asked Kris.
"I’m her boyfriend, who are you?"
"I’m her old boyfriend, but don’t worry I will get her back."
"Will see about that. Please leave!!"
"Fine, but this isn’t the last time you’ll hear or see from me."
Emily started crying softly as she latched on to AJ’s arm. Kris left and AJ wrapped his arms around her. "It will be all right. I promise"
"What did he do?" she questioned.
"He’s not going to leave me alone. I know it."
"Yes, he will. He won’t hurt you. You have all of us."
"Thanks, guys." She said. AJ kissed the top of her head lightly. "My head hurts I think I am going to go to sleep."
"It’ll be okay," AJ said, as she leaned over and kissed him lightly. She quietly went upstairs and cried herself to sleep.
