When the girls arrived at their house the phone was ringing. Emily was the first to reach the phone. "Hello?"
"Emily?"
"AJ?"
"Yeah, it’s me. What are you guys up to?" he asked.
"Well, we just walked in the door actually." She said.
"Oh, do you want me to call back later?" he asked.
"No it’s okay, really." She replied.
"Me and the guys were wondering maybe, if you and the girls wanted to go dancing with us to night?"
"That sounds great let me ask." She said as she set down the phone lightly. The girls were standing right behind her the whole time.
"AJ and the rest of the guys want to know if we will go dancing with them tonight. What do you say?" she asked already knowing the answer.
"Yeah!!" screeched Tiela. Emily picked up the phone.
"Somebody’s excited," said AJ. "Who was that?" he asked chuckling.
"Oh, that was Tiela, I think she likes Nick." She said.
"Really? Niiiicccckkkk!" screamed AJ.
"What AJ?" he asked.
"Somebody likes you," he teased.
"Who?"
"Maybe you’ll find out tonight." He said.
"Emily? You still there."
"Yeah, you weren’t supposed to tell him."
"He doesn’t know yet," said AJ, tauntingly.
"Don’t! Let him find out for himself." Said Emily.
"Okay, well I have to go get ready for my big date tonight. I’m sure you will love her," said AJ trying hard not to laugh.
"Okay, my date is coming but he might be a little late. Bye!" she said knowing what he was doing, and deciding on playing his game.
"Bye," said AJ, quite sad. With that they both hung up the phone.
~Guys House~
"Oh, man." Said AJ as he walked away from the phone.
"What?" asked Howie, who knew he was on the phone with Emily.
"Emily is gonna bring a date tonight." Replied AJ.
"That’s too bad," said Howie.
"What’s too bad?" asked Kevin walking in the room.
"Emily is bring a date tonight." Said Howie.
"Yeah, that is too bad." Said Kevin.
"You know you will find a girl," said Howie.
"Your probably right, but that doesn’t mean I won’t have her on my mind." Said AJ.
"Well, come on let’s get ready." Said Kevin.
"All right," said Howie and AJ in unison.
~Girls House~
"Guys, I just played the best joke on AJ," cried Emily.
"Why?" asked Trisha, knowing that Emily could be harsh with her jokes.
"Because, he played one on me." she exclaimed.
"Oh really?"
"Yep," she said. "Excuse me, I have to go get ready." She said as she took off laughing.
