After Tiela blacked out, I didn’t waste any time and drove her to the hospital. When we got there, I immediately picked her up in my arms and brought her inside.
"Doctor, please she’s hurt." I said, as I wasted no time in finding help.
"What happened?" he questioned.
"I really don’t know. I heard a scream and when I found her she was bleeding from her side. It looks like she might have been stabbed." I said, my eyes burning because I was holding back the tears. He took her from my arms and ran between the double doors. I stood there like a zombie until they were out of sight. Just then everybody came up behind me.
"Are you okay, Nicky?" asked Emily.
"I’ve been better" I replied, as we hugged each other. I saw the anger and jealousy build up inside AJ. I wanted to let go but I just couldn’t, I think she felt the same. She laid her head on my chest and started to cry. AJ gave Nick a dirty look.
"Excuse me, Mr. Carter?" asked the doctor as he came through the double doors.
"Yes," I said, as I shot up from my seat.
"Can I talk to you in private?" he asked. "Sure," I replied, as I followed him. I looked back and noticed that AJ had quickly taken over the job I had been doing earlier.
"I hope everything’s okay," said Sarah.
"I’m sure it will be." Said Kevin. I walked back in the room. "I can’t believe it" I choked out. I laid my head in my hands and felt the tears as each on gently brushed my hand.
