"Yeah," said Tiela.
"This must be extra exciting for you and Emily, being that you are going to school down here." Said Ashley.
"I guess you could say that." Said Emily staring out the large glass window.
"Didn’t you feel bad leaving Kris?" Sarah asked Emily.
"Yes, I do. Last night I cried myself to sleep" relied Emily.
"Oh, is my little Emmie gonna be okay?" asked Trisha. Trisha and Emily were definitely the closest out of the group. Emily was an only child and never had a big sister. Trisha was the in the middle of her family and never got to be the big sister she wanted to be.
"Yep" she said.
"Guys, they announced that the plane is here. We gotta go." Said Ashley always having to be punctual.
"We’re coming." Said Sarah, basketball in hand.
~About 10 Minutes Later~
Trisha and Emily were in the first two seats. Sarah and Tiela were in the seats behind them and Ashley was behind them. There parents had wanted this to be special for them so they got first class seats. The plane was being delayed and nobody knew why until a red-haired man came flying through the first class curtain. He was followed by four other men who were laughing hysterically.
"Whoa AJ, walk much?" asked the man with dirty blonde hair.
"Shut up, Brian." Snapped AJ.
"Guys, we don’t need to fight." Said the short one with shoulder length hair pulled into a pony tail.
"Here we go again," said the dark-haired tall one.
"There is never a day…" said the other tall one with blonde hair.
"What do you two know?" asked AJ.
"Yeah, Kevin? Nick?" asked Brian.
The whole time the girls were watching this and trying hard not to laugh. AJ turned around and did a double take looking at Emily sitting in the front seat.
"Whoa baby, hot chicks over there." Whispered AJ. They all turned around to see the faces of five striking young girls.
"You can say that again," said Brian beginning to stare. The girls couldn’t help it any longer and they all burst out laughing.
"What did we do?" asked Nick.
"I don’t know but, I’m taking my seat" said Kevin. His was the seat next to Ashley.
"Lucky stiff" said Howie as he took his seat behind Kevin, and AJ next to him. Brian and Nick were behind them.
"Hi, my name’s Kevin. What’s yours?" he asked putting out his hand.
"Ashley" she said shaking his hand.
"Can I ask why you were laughing before." Questioned Kevin.
"Oh that, well when your red-haired friend behind me came flying in here and then when you guys were all arguing. It was pretty funny. I guess you just had to see it from our point of view." She snickered.
AJ popped his head between the two seats, "did I just hear my head come up in conversation?"
"Yes, nosy." Said Kevin.
"Oh okay, why?"
"Because these girls were laughing at you!" said Kevin beginning to laugh.
"Oh, my name’s AJ. What’s yours?" he asked.
"Ashley"
"Ashley, do you think you could get the girl up in front with the dark-brown hair to talk to me." said AJ wasting no time.
"Oh, that’s Emily. Hold on a minute. Excuse me." she said as she squeezed past Kevin.
"Emily, AJ wants you to talk to him." said Ashley. Emily got up and walked over to him with her headphones still on. She danced down the isle like a nut.
"Yo, what up?" she asked.
"Not much you?"
"Well, me I’m listening to my CD and by the way my name is Emily."
"My name is AJ, what CD are you listening to?"
"I know, Boyz II Men." She replied.
"Howie my friend Trisha, up next to where I was sitting, said you could go talk to her while me and AJ chatted." She said.
"Okay, I’ll take her up on that offer." He said and then he left.
"Well, you can sit here now," said AJ.
"Thanks," she said.
"So, who are your friends?" she asked.
"Oh, back there, Nick and Brian." He said. When Nick and Brian heard their names they immediately stopped playing Sega and began to listen to the conversation. AJ knew this and said "Brian, Nick, this is Emily."
"Hey guys, were you playing Sega?" she asked.
"Yeah, you any good?" asked Brian.
"Yupperz!" she said enthusiastically.
"Challenge you." said Nick.
"Okay," she ended up beating him and then she played Brian and beat him too.
"Wow! Your good!" said AJ not even going to try.
"Thanks!" she said.
"Well, guys I’m tired. I think I will take a little cat nap." She said, arching her neck. "Never mind, Howie is still in my seat." She said.
"You can sleep here," said AJ.
"Yeah, but I don’t have my pillow," she said.
"Will my shoulder work?" he asked.
"Are you sure?" she asked.
"Definitely."
"Okay thanks, AJ. " she said as she gave him a peck on the cheek and then fell asleep.
