Chapter 18
After a grueling 4 hour rehearsal, the guys all split to do their own stuff. Kevin quickly went home and changed, and then went and got Sheana. After packing all her stuff into the back of his truck, he got in the truck and drove Sheana towards Rook's. Rook's was the restaurant that Sheana and Kevin had met at, Kevin remembered it very well.
Kevin was just coming back from a tour, and he and the rest of the guys were stopping to get something to eat. They all decided on relaxed and laid-back Rook's bar and restaurant. Sheana was coming home from a few dance auditions in New York City, and her and her friends were meeting there. When Kevin walked in, Sheana was there all by herself, but Kevin was stunned by her beauty, and wanted to ask her to join the guys. When he finally got the courage, he saw that her friends had walked in and decided he would talk to her before he left. Through out the entire meal, Kevin kept glancing at Sheana, but she didn't notice. One of her friends finally nudged her and told her that there was a very sexy guy looking at her. Trying not to be obvious, Sheana looked at Kevin, she caught him, and instead of looking away, she smiled and waved. Kevin fell for her right then, after his meal, he went over to her and introduced himself. One of Sheana's friends, who was a huge Backstreet fan, knew who he was, but the others, including Sheana, had never heard of his group. Needless to say, Sheana and Kevin had kept in touch and a few months later, decided to become a couple. Kevin was tall, muscular, and had very handsome features, while Sheana was medium height, and not really thin, but still little, had dark red curly hair, and was also a dancer and a model, everyone thought that the two looked very cute together.
After Kevin and Sheana had gotten something to eat, they headed for the airport, which was only ten minutes away. After getting her luggage squared away, Kevin and Sheana sat at the terminal looking out the window.
"I know that it's only going to be two weeks, but I am gonna miss you. Promise to call?"
"Baby, I will call you every morning when I wake up, and every night before I go to bed." Sheana looked deep into his eyes, and promised. She hated to leave him, especially right now, after all that he was going through. But she had to worry about her future and her career too. Kevin's response to Sheana's promise was to reach down and kiss her. Finally, the flight attendant called the passengers and announced that the plane would start letting the passengers on now. Kevin waited with Sheana inline, then when she got on, he kissed her and hugged her and wiped away her tears, and watched her walk to the plane. Kevin waited for her plane to leave before he walked to his truck out in the parking lot.
Adrianne and Ann decided to go shopping today, that way they could talk, and buy cute outfits at the same time. Adrianne also knew she had to work today, so she just met Ann there, that way she could go into the mall, and go to work after shopping. Ann and Adrianne spent four hours together, before Adrianne had to go to work. Ann told Adrianne that tomorrow she wanted to take her on a picnic, so they could talk before she left to go back home. She also wanted Kevin to come, but she knew he was busy with his schedule, especially since he was leaving for Europe in two days.
