Chapter 17
With only 2 days until Kevin went to Europe, Ann went back home, and Adrianne got on with her life without Ann, Kevin, and AJ. Kevin was gettin a little frusterated. He had a lot to concentrate on for the upcoming tour in Europe to promote 'Millenium', and his Mother had to go home and tell Jerald and Tim about Adrianne, and Kevin would not be able to see his sister for a few months.
Kevin got up early the next day so that he could talk to AJ and then get ready for rehearsal and help get Sheana to the airport. Kevin walked into AJ's room and saw how soundly AJ and Adrianne were sleeping. He hated to wake them, but AJ had to get ready soon anyway. Kevin gently tapped AJ, then shook him, and finally resorted to whispering his name in his ear.
"AJ....AJ....AJ....AJ.... BOY GET UP!!!!" Kevin gave up and just yelled. AJ slowly opened his eyes, and looked at Kevin.
"Are you completely insane? I am cuddling with my girl, and you are screaming in my ear. What has gotten into you? I know you are having some issues, but you must have gone dumbass on me?" AJ hated to be woken. He was not a happy camper right now.
"Kiss it AJ. I need to talk to you, and you weren't waking up. You are a very sound sleeper you know. Anyway.. I need to talk to you about her."Kevin said, while nodding his head at Adrianne.
"Her, has a name you know. What do you want to say?"
"I was kinda hoping we could maybe sit outside and talk about this. Adrianne needs her sleep, and she has 2 big days ahead of her, I have a feeling her and my mother, her mother, our mother, will be bonding a lot today and tomorrow." Kevin walked out of the room, with AJ following behind him. AJ got some coffee and met Kevin out back by the pool.
"Now, Train. Could you please explain yourself to me. I would like to know what the problem is?"
"AJ, I don't want to go on tour. I am scared to leave my Mom, and I want to spend sometime with Adrianne. This is a first for me. I love seeing the fans, they always make me soo happy, they put me in the best mood, but right now... I don't want to even be bothered by them..." Kevin slowly trailed off.
"Train.... I don't know what to say. I know that right now, your Mom and Adrianne both need you. But you made an obligation to both your family and to us. I think that maybe these next few weeks will be good. So that way you can think about everything that has happened. You know, it's only been 2 and a half weeks since we both met Adrianne. This is all happening fast for all of us. Think about it Train, but just don't leave us guys hangin. OK?"
"Alright. Thanks Bone. I needed your help, and you helped. I gotta go get ready for rehearsal. See ya later." Kevin and AJ both went inside and got there stuff together for rehearsal. Kevin called Sheana and told her that he would pick her up after rehearsal and take her out to lunch and then put her on her plane.
