"What are you talking about Kevin?" AJ was majorly confused and
really feeling left out.
"Adrianne wants me to ask my Mom about her miscarriage. She thinks
that my Mom gave the baby up for adoption and it's her."
"No way? I didn't know she felt this close to you? I thought it was
like a distant cousin, freak accident, type thing." AJ was looking down at
his hands, not able to look up at Kevin.
"How do you think I am supposed to confront my mother about this? I
want to ask her face to face, but it's too far away to fly home and then come
back. What if Adrianne is wrong, and she gets her hopes up and comes to find
that she still doesn't know her real mother and father? Or, what if she is my
sister, but will never get to meet her real father? I just don't
understand..."
"Kevin, I will talk to Adrianne tomorrow and we will discuss it. Can
you talk to your Mom?"
"Ofcourse, anything to get this feeling out of my stomach."
"Thanks Train, I appreciate it. So, how are you doing Sheana?" AJ
wanted to switch the topic as soon as possible.
"I'm fine AJ. How about you?"
"I couldn't be better. You joining us on the tour?"
"For the last 8 weeks. I have to dance in New York next week, and
then I am going to visit my friend in Pennsylvania, but after that I am gonna
be on the band wagon."
"That's great. What did Fatima say about having to block you in?
Isn't that kinda hard?"
"Well, it works out that I get to watch three European shows, and
then I have to be blocked into the routines, and then my replacement goes
back to Orlando, and I take her place."
"It's all good. Looks like dinner is ready." AJ was so hungry, he had
been out all day shopping for Adrianne and didn't really eat too much.
After dinner everyone pretty much left, leaving Brian and Nick to do
clean up.
"You know I am a nice person that is why I am helping you do this."
Brian looked at Nick and smiled.
"No, you aren't. You are helping me because your girlfriend is
visiting family in California and you couldn't go, so you have nothing better
to do. And it just so happens that my girlfriend and I aren't on speaking
terms. You aren't a nice person, you're just a loser with no life." Nick just
looked back at Brian and smiled. He knew he had gotten Brian on that one, and
continued to wash the dishes.
"Hey, Frick and Frack? Shea and I are going to get some ice cream,
wanna join us?" Kevin thought it would be nice to invite both of them since
they obviously didn't have any plans, and Brian was his cousin.
"I SCREAM, YOU SCREAM, WE ALL SCREAM FOR ICE CREAM!" Nick and Brian
sang together arm in arm skipping out the door.
"OK, are they our kids, or our friends?" Sheana asked looking at
Kevin. Kevin just shook his head and walked out of the door.
After the four of the went and got ice cream, and came home it was
around ten o'clock. Sheana and Kevin decided to call it a night, and go to
bed. Kevin decided he was going to call his Mom after rehearsal tomorrow
morning.
