It's snowing again. It's the backside of the big storm that is hitting the east coast. Last night it was zero at our house. Hey! It's March. What's going on?
I cleaned off the top shelf of my sewing stuff in this glory room. This weekend I will plant my 13 varieties of tomatoes and 4 varieties of peppers. I know, I know, my garden isn't that big. But I have to try all these new varieties, and I have to grow my little yellow pear tomatoes. When I ordered new seeds from Totally Tomatoes, they sent me 5 packets of seeds, free, that they are testing. If they only knew how little my garden is!
They have such wonderful names, these tiny seeds: Fond Red Mini Hybrid; Sunny Goliath; Homeweet Hybrid; Red Pear; Yellow Pear; SunSugar Hybrid; Glacier; Manitoba; Siberia; Rutgers Improved (how did that get in there?). The peppers are Lido Lamuyo (a free packet), Giant Marconi Hybrid Yankee Bell, and Gourmet Rainbow Mix. Let's see, if I plant even three plants of each variety...where, oh where, will I put my 14 different kinds of lettuce, 2 broccoli, 4 carrots, three cabbages? Plus parsley, cilantro, nastursiums (5 varieties), calendulas (2 varieties), marigolds (3 varieties), zinnias...
I can't wait to try!

I have a couple extra minutes this morning; I'm not sure why. I'm probably forgetting something very important. By-the-way, Happy Birthday, Lyra!
