Autumn
Autumn's the season of falling leaves
To everyone that'll very much please
God gave us the seasons so we could see
What a wonderful world this truly can be
Smell the warm moist scent of decaying leaves
The soft brown pine needles that fall where
they please
The colorful leaves wave and dance from the air
They are saying good bye with majestic aire.
Cool autumn mist floats over the pond
It lifts to the sun and then it is gone
Winter is coming, we must prepare for sleep
Our soul, our hearts, cling to thoughts so deep
