Phoenix Rocks His Home Town!!!!

Jason Phoenix returned to Buffalo February 19th, days after his 23rd birthday. Phoenix, who always denied being from Buffalo, disagreed with the commisioner's verbal bombardment of the hometown fans, put his foot down and stuck up for his fans. His title was stripped and given to Kwan Chang. During the title presentation, Chang and Commisioner Baldwin continued to badmouth the local fans. When Phoenix finally heard enough, he stormed back out with his music blaring. He admitted that he was in fact from Buffalo, that his fans deserved a better champion, and challenged the new champion to a main event title match. Chang accepted the challenge, then blindsided Phoenix with a kendle stick, starting a war that would be finished later in the ring. After a few undercard matches, it was time to finish the battle. Phoenix came out like a bat out of hell, pummeling Chang with a barriage of high risk manuevers. But Chang wasn't about to be outdone. After almost decapitating the challenger, and a couple of near pins, things didn't look good for Phoenix. Then, just when things couldn't get much worse, Chang's manager and tag team partner Superstar Steve Titan dragged Phoenix out of the ring and suplexed him through a table. He through the seemingly exhausted challenger back into the ring to let Chang finish the job. Phoenix fought off a deadly submission move, by slamming the champ into the turnbuckle. Phoenix seemed to be out of danger, but Chang brushed it off and pulled him right back in with the same move. Backing him into the corner again, Phoenix managed to break free, but not for long. Steve Titan reappeared, this time with a chair. As he was about to clock Phoenix, Troy Buchanan, (another Buffalonian) grabbed the chair and cleared the ring. Chang went for a clothesline, but Phoenix ducked out, kicked him in the gut and delivered a spinning power bomb for a quick three count! He won back the hearts of the local fans that day, and gave them a champion they could respect and admire.
