Lee Miller, WA7AEL, of Las Vegas, NV is seen here operating the in-room West Coast Amateur Radio Service station at the 1968 SAROC Convention in Las Vegas. The station consisted of a Swan 500 SSB Transceiver, Swan Mark II Linear Amplifier, 405X Crystal Oscillator and Model 22B VFO Adaptor Switch. We believe the patrolman is also a ham. This station consisted of a Swan 400 SSB Transceiver, Swan Mark I Linear Amplifier, 420 VFO, 405X Crystal Oscillator and Turner 454 microphone.
