As founder and CEO of Marimae Publishing Co. and Living To Worship, Katherine incorporates her natural business aptitude into her ministry as a coordinator and instructor of seminars dealing with topics on worship, music and church leadership. She published her first book, On the Brink of Ministry in 1998 which has been endorsed by Reverend Jackie McCullough, Reverend Lydia Colley, and Mary Eberfeld. Her second book, Prayer, Praise and Worship is expected to be released Winter, 2003.
Katherine is also a gifted songwriter. To Marimae's credit is the national release of Inger Reid's He's My Everything on Our Turn Records on which Katherine wrote two songs, Forevermore and Glory & Honor and Larry and Marissa on Galetka Records Its Good to Know and Sing Unto the Lord. Among her published choruses are Let Us Rejoice and Victory Ahead on the Bethel Worship Experience Featuring Jeffrey Graham on Ziza Records, as well as Katherine's debut cassingle released by Marimae Publishing LET US REJOICE which has be named in the TOP TEN independent Christian releases on the IUMA: Christian and Gospel Charts in 1999.
Katherine is a soulful psalmist in her delivery of both traditional and contemporary worship and praise songs. She has facilitated the worship experience of thousands of individuals and formerly served as Worship and Music Chairperson for the E.C. Reems Women's International Ministries, Queens/Long Island Chapters as well as Director of the Queens Chapter Choir for three years as well as the Minister of Music for Manna Ministries Summer Retreats as well as ministering in nursing homes, street meetings and shelters.
Katherine has recorded with such artists as Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Jonathan Butler, Rev. Joe Brown, and worked with producers John Smith and Loris Holland. She has also sung with the ministries of The Daryl Douglas Workshop Company, Donnie McClurkin and The New York Restoration Choir, Daryl Doleman & Company, Nancy Jackson and Melanie Daniels. Katherine has also makes guest appearances on radio and television broadcasts in the north east. Katherine presently serves on the worship team of Perfecting Faith Church of Freeport, New York under the leadership of her Pastor, Rev. Donnie McClurkin.
