Welcome to the new home of Dancing Lindy Film Productions. We are an independent producer of experimental films and video. My film "Views from a Gas Mask" was a finalist at the Ann Arbor Experimental Film Festival And won Best Film Under Five Minutes at The Humboldt International Short Film Festival.

I am presently working on a new video "light Show Daze" which deals with a light show company from the 1960's. While in California I shot some footage for it along with the help of my West Coast Creative consultant, Dianna. While there she guided me around beautiful Northern California and I think I have found a new home there in all its splendor. I liked it so much that I am returning there for two weeks in July to shoot more footage.

Also in the works are two other films one dealing with the ravages of diabetes, of which I too suffer, and another unnamed film.

While in California Dianna took care of my needs, housing, and transportation for which I shall be eternally thankful for. She escorted me to the Humboldt International Short Film Festival where I was introduced as a visiting filmmaker and had a splendid time. It is hard to describe in words the feeling of seeing your work projected in a theater seen by close to 200 people. It was like another world. She told me they were whistling and clapping at the end of my film but to be honest I don't even remember hearing anyone. It was almost like having a child born...seeing your work in theater instead of in a movieola, 40 feet high as opposed to 3 inches high. It was a thrilling experience and I'm glad that Dianna was there to experience it with me. It was very hard to leave my family behind...journey to California...to places I have never been, and then to be honored like this. It is all so humbling. Again, thanks to Dianna for making this all so special for me. It was nice not to have to worry about how to get there...when I had to leave...and such. Thank You so very much Dianna.

Ok I'm going to try to post a very short film here called Brasil. It is in Mpeg format. The server is slow so I'm not sure how it will work but we can give it a try.

Click below for the film.

Special thanks to my family for their understand and for" putting up" with the artist that resides within my soul. Also a very special thanks to the Media Study Department at the State University of New York at Buffalo especially Nancy King, Meg Knowles, and Beth Rheingold.

A deep heartfelt thanks to My Film Professor Bernie Roddy, who never stopped believing in me, even when I had my own doubts. Who encouraged me to greatness, even when I couldn't see the possibilities. Bernie, I'll never be able to say thank you enough.
