So Sunday February 13 I was at Damon's Sports Bar having lunch for a friend's birthday, and little did I know that across the parking lot were members of DubR. I wanted to take Emily to King's Highway and along Durand Park to show her where we drove most of the time in Driver's Ed. I took her along King's Highway heading South. We got stuck behind two pickups, and one pulled over to let us by. At the end I pulled into the town's department parking lot and was ready to turn back around, but a line of cars had formed behind the truck that let me by. First in line was a silver Golf IV, and it pulled into the lot where I was sitting. Behind it was a Jetta III. Cool, I thought. Behind that was another Golf IV, and finally pulled in a blue Jetta IV with an Otteinger grille, and I said "Whoa, this must be a touring group!" More Jettas, more GTis, and finally, FINALLY, bringing up the rear was a green Corrado. By this time I had been waved over a couple times so I followed them back North along the highway, and talked with some members for a while near the country club. It was incredible.
