Z8 Interior
Since I couldn't get close enough on either side because of other Car Show attendees, I utilized the camera's zoom to get this shot. I think the car is set up pretty nicely. Still would like to get into one!
The Nose
Once you step back from a car at the show, the hole you make is instantly filled with another body, so getting a good 3/4 shot on a car such as this is difficult. You'll have to live with just the nose. Be glad for that. I hardly could get ANY pictures of the M3 because of the crowds. I wonder if I could get a press pass next year...
Z9 Cabrio Concept
Once again, not the best pictures and I apologize, but what can i do when BMW put this car in a corner with walls on two sides. I guess they thought it was ugly? I wonder if they looked at the XCoupe a whole lot. Either way, with the group of kids hanging around it and the barracade so I couldn't get real close, this is what the interior looked like to me. It features the iDrive system, which will be on the new 7 series. The whole Z9 display was in a sort of back room to the BMW display. There were appearantly interactive computer stations that you could try the technology out, but unfortunately I didn't get the chance to. Long lines of kids who would never leave. Press pass, press pass....Now I'm not saying that I'm not a kid, but rather that I am an enthusiast and they were not. I just don't enjoy being held back from something by people who are there to get out of school rather than to experience and understand these awesome machines. NYIAS Page 14
