Background: The middle child of an unheard of three cub family, Teller was an exceptionally happy and energetic child. He earned the name Spearflash, due to his strange stunts and tricks with the spear, using his natural dexterity to show off to anyone who would watch. Through his skill at hunting, and his recklessness, he met his friend Bladesong, and the two found a natural kinship, one so strong that they have been declared 'Brothers in all but Blood'. His showy nature also led him into a love of the tales of the tribes ancestors, and he memorized them all, listening every night to their stories from whoever would tell them. When he became old enough, he started telling others these tales, entrancing the cubs and even older elves with his storytelling. The stories and recklessness in part also won him the heart of his beloved and lovemate, Brooksong. On his 24th turn, he was renamed Teller.
When the human's attacked the Holt, he fought fiercely, using everything he knew to try and save his tribe, but he broke off in the middle of the fight as heard the sending of his trapped lovemate. He rushed to her aid, struggling to help her escape her predicament. But a falling branch, on fire itself ended his attempts when it struck his shoulder pulling im away from her even further after he had lost his grip. His last sight of her was dim as their hands were pulled apart, her ring coming off in his grasp. He survived only due to his soul-brother's efforts, who freed him, but only by cutting the leather trap of the troll-made medallion Teller wore, won from a troll turns before. He survived, but has born the scar from the burning branch ever since.
He was soon reunited with his sister and the trio traveled together for some time before Bladesong and Streamrider recognized two wandering elves. The four-some decided to stay together and Teller moved on.
