(AJ's Gym)
Using binoculars Team Rocket watches Ash battle at AJ's Gym. They want to get AJ's sandshrew. Jesse and James comment about AJ's appearance and Meowth makes a comment about Jesse and James looking like trick or treators. James clubs Meowth in the head making him fall to ground and the binoculars fell into his mouth. They then hid by AJ's tent and got insolated gloves and a big rubber ball to prepare for their plan. They forgot about sandshrew and still were focusing on Pikachu. They also think of a new motto: "Team Rocket will do what it has to do what it has to do," says Jesse. "To snatch that little Pikachu," says James. James said that he wanted to go back to the old motto because the new one doesn't feel right. Meowth suggested a Meowth song and to have a dance with it. Jesse and James turn down the idea. They get into the large red rubber ball and roll into the tent without being noticed and they grab Sandshrew (mistaking it for Pikachu. They were confused because they were to dizzy) They ran off. James complains about carrying the bag and Jesse says that a true gentleman always carries the bag, James yells back "As you know I'm no gentleman!". Sandshrew jumps out of the bag knocking them out. Meowth bites onto Sandshrew’s tail and Sandshrew goes underground to return to AJ. Meowth regain consciousness in AJ's tent and realizes he's without Jesse and James. Meowth is surrounded by Ash, Brock, Misty, AJ and AJ's pokemon. Meowth scratches Ashes face and jumps back. Jesse and James show up and recite their traditional motto. James has his red rose with him and they use the same pose as the first time they recited it (from Episode 2 -Pokemon Emergency with Ekans and Koffing in the background). Jesse and James cry for the fact the motto is so good that they don't need a theme song. "It’s a classic," James says with a river of tears. AJ wanted to know if they were the ones that took his sandshrew. Team Rocket explains that it was a mix up and say they didn't want a second rate pokemon. AJ gets mad and challenges them to a battle for his 100th win. Team Rocket agrees. Ekans gets knotted and Koffing uses sludge attack that didn't work. Meowth was even called in and he started playing ball with Sandshrew and took a bit it, chipping his teeth. Sandshrew then splits up the ground. Meowth forfeits the match along with Ekans and Koffing. Jesse and James chases them wondering where Meowth was going. Meowth answers "to write a theme song".
