Team Rocket say their motto (on a scaffold high up next to a skyscraper) wearing worker uniforms but quickly rip them away. Meowth says they should cut to the chase and catch Pikachu than asks what the secret weapon is this time. "A deadly weapon that’s been perfected over thousands of years. Now we have learned to use its awesome powers. With the flick of this fishing net we’ll round up Pikachu," James says while holding a fishing net. Meowth yells at him. "It takes a genius to realize a fishing net is the perfect weapon," James said back. Jesse says it’s the greatest discovery since Einstein created the light bulb. "Even greater than the chicken who invented the egg," Jesse and James sang and danced until a giant egg with green spots landed on them. "All of us true geniuses know of course, that it was actually the egg that proceeded the chicken," James said. Meowth said they should stop it and try to catch Pikachu. James waves the net in the air and Haunter appears. Team Rocket gets scared and they fall off the scaffold. Meowth hangs onto James’ leg and James holds onto Jesse’s while she holds onto the Platform. James tells her to pull them up. Jesse said that she can’t and they should let go that way she would know at least she’ll survive. Jesse cries. Haunter makes silly faces as Jesse tries not to laugh. Her hands start to slip. She says, "I won’t crack. The members of Team Rocket have been trained to resist all silliness and to be totally serious." Haunter finally gets her to crack. She lets go and laughs as she falls. They all hit the pavement and make a cartoon like outlining of themselves in it. Later you see a truck pouring cement in the hole that Team Rocket made. They plead for the truck to stop pouring cement. Then they are seen covered in cement. "We’re blasting off again," they say as they jump out of the hole and run the same direction Ash was going.
