Outside the window of the Vermilion City Gym Team Rocket watches Pikachu battling Raichu. They are talking about Pikachu loosing to Raichu and if that happens then they wasted all their time chasing Pikachu. Meowth suggested stealing Raichu if Pikachu looses while he was cleaning an extra charm. Jesse and James punched Meowth and stuck his extra charm in his mouth just for suggesting the idea. Jesse started cheering Pikachu on. Pikachu lost the battle and was in the hospital. Nurse Joy suggested Ash to use the thunder stone to evolve Pikachu to a raichu. Team Rocket was outside the hospital window wondering what Pikachu was going to do. Meowth started crying and told Jesse and James that Pikachu didn't want to evolve, James started crying at the idea of Pikachu's determination. When Pikachu left the hospital Team Rocket greeted him (in disguise). They said they were the Challenger Cheerleaders and they gave Pikachu a strange cheer and ran off. Misty realized it was really Team Rocket. They watched the second battle and Pikachu was doing badly. Team Rocket thought they did the wrong cheer. But Pikachu won at the end. "What a SHOCKING story" Jesse said. "That was quite a TAIL" James said holding Koffing. Meowth hits both Jesse and James and says "Now you been PUNished". Now they know Pikachu is very powerful and rare as they walk off into the sunset. "Drat, We wasted this episode cheering for the good guys" James said.
