cp.crossExt_soundCard.defaultReturnValue property type: boolean default value: false You will hardly come to the point when you have to alter this value. It is there to customize the return value passed back from the soundCardAvailable method if that method cannot retrieve soundcard status. For instance MSIEs running on a Macintosh is a case where this property can be usefull. As this property by default is set to false, a soundcard check on these clients will always say false. That is, unless you set it to true.
