cp.soundCardAvailable cp.soundCardAvailable( ) This method will try to determine if the client has a soundcard connented the system and will return true if so. However, the returnvalue can only be considered reliable on MSIE (Win32) clients. On all other platforms running MSIE like, Macintosh, UNIX, Win16 this method will pass back whatever value contained in cp.crossExt_soundCard.defaultReturnValue which default is set to false. On Netscapes there is to us no known method to drag soundcard information. It could though be achieved using java, we'll look further into this. |
