Hello you lovely soapers!!!
I was born on Dec. 1st, 1954..in Watsonville, Calif.

I now live 5 mi. outside the city limits of : Alamogordo, New Mexico...(85 mi. from El Paso, Tx.)

Married to my child-hood sweetheart-Dicky-(alias: 'pistol'); my 3rd marriage..going on 8 yrs. now(1999); ie: He was my 1st boyfriend.

I have 3 children: Rachel, Naomi, & Jonathan. ages: 27/24/21
1 grandkid from Rachel: Zachary - 4 yrs old 2 from Jonathan: Noah - 3 ; & Victoria - 1 - from Naomi; due Oct. 22
My sis, Paige, got me to get on the soapers list. which I am so grateful - to her for doing this.
She made the 1st - SOAP- in our family; she came to visit me in '97, & we made 30 batches of remilled soap!...we were hooked!! Then, Rachel came to visit & we made 350 bars of Soap!!! We could smell the EO's - outside the house!!LOL!
So, now when - Paige, Rachel & I get together- soapin' is always a part of our vacation!!!
I've been 'soapin' about 21/2 yrs now, & haven't bought any 'store' soap since.

My Occupation: I have been a clay artist for 5 or 6 yrs now. My business is called - "POOZART". I work in high fire stoneware clay. I made Jewelry for 25 yrs..(that made it possible to leave the 1st - not so dh)!! Now, I'm very happy...up to my elbows in clay(dirt!)! I am known for my angels; but, also make dishes, soap bowls & fun things!
My play time is soapin'; but, i do sell my soaps in 2 shops. Have been in various shops in New Mexico, Calif., Colorado, & Texas. Just got a new computer, & am working on getting an add in the New Mexico magazine, a web site, & more retail sales! I thought I'd reached the moon when I got to Taos & Denver!...guess I did; they pay for my EO's!!lol

My hobbies : keeping my DH happy!!; grandkids; camping, gardening-(herbs & roses); rock hunting, junk collector-(I recycle-into mosaic); making infused flower & herb oils for my bath oils, facial creams & cleansers; deep woods 'gatherer'...used to sew for Neiman Marcus....whoopie..now I need the sewing space to put the soap supplies in.
I have my studio; at home, a seperate building...dh just gave up 'his junk room' for my new office..where I am when ..I'm on the pc.
