More about Tricolor Books

Tricolor Books is located in Hudson, New York, two hours north of New York City by car or train and within an hour's drive of Albany, the Berkshires, and the Catskills. I am within walking distance of Hudson's Amtrak station, and ten minutes' drive from the New York State Thruway (Exit 21, Catskill). Drop-in customers are welcome; I'd be delighted to meet you! Please contact me ahead of time, however, to make an appointment--otherwise you may not find me at home.

Tricolor began in 1995, specializing in books on 18th and 19th-century France, particularly the Revolution, my own chief interest. Since 1995 Tricolor has grown to cover books on all aspects of French history, plus 18th-century European history in general. Scholarly books are a specialty, but I offer any and all interesting books having to do with French history.
