Anyways, I went and grabbed a spot in front of where Rosie would be standing. And I met some nice people who also drove like 800 miles to be there. They were from a small town outside of Waterloo. Hey and if you are one of those very nice people I was talking to and your reading this, I didnt give you my email address... so email me okie!? Anyways, the first member of treble charger I saw was Trevor. I went and talked to him for a minute... just to say like "hello" and ask if the rest of the band was there yet. Later he came and found me again and asked if I could sell the merch. I said no, because I really wanted to see the concert. But I told him after tc I'd do it... cuz i wasnt there to see Our Lady Peace. Next to see me was Rosie... from beside the stage. He couldnt belive I was there. treble charger got on stage at about 8ish I belive. They played the usual set: Takes Me Down 1st, How She Died 2nd, Stupid thing to say 3rd... etc... they did however surpise me with Scatterbrain... something they dont play live often. They played 3 songs from self=title; Even Grable, Morale and Cleric's Hip. The closed with the usual Red right into Mercury Smile.
After the set I motioned to Rosie to meet me beside the stage. The 2 people I was with (the people that drove me there) were watching me the whole time... stand at the gate. They wanted backstage passes so they could meet Our Lady Peace. Greig came over and I talked to him when I was standing outside the gate beside the stage. I told him how the guestlist f*&^ed up and he said that Rosie and Bill's parents who were on the same list got in fine. I guess its because I'm young... people didn't belive I would be on a guestlist?? I dunno but something got screwed up. Then Rosie came over and gave me a pass so I could go backstage. I didn't need to do the merch... Trevor got some other girls to do it. So when I was standing in back of the gate waiting for Rosie to finish signing autographs the 2 ppl I was with got very mad and went insane cuz I got back and they didnt. Rosie could only get 1 pass... and he doesnt even know them... neither did I for that matter. I was just paying the gas and the accomidations. So they got bitchy.. Rosie and I went behind the stage and got some water. Then he did an interview with a Sault Ste Marie cable station. I met Mike Turner from Our Lady Peace... and just said that I liked their music etc... I saw Jeremy and Duncan but I really didn't want to disturb anyone before their show so I left them alone. Rosie and I grabbed some food and watched the OLP set. I just kept thinking how insane the 2 people I was with were, and it scared me.
After the show was over I was invited back to Greig's cottage, the 2 people I was with freaked out on a bunch of treble charger's friends to go and get me. Then they told me they were going to go home that night... and leave me stranded... and that they were going to call my mom and say bad things about me to her. Rosie went over and talked to them... but they insisted that they were going home... so he told them to leave all my stuff at the camp ground... and we would get it on our way home the next day. They also flipped out that I got to go and hang out after the show and they didn't. But its becuase they went crazy... and kept yelling at me... all alone. Then they started being all smart assish with Rosie. Finally we just left.. and went back to the cottage. I called my mom to tell her where I was and what happened. She was happy that I called her.. I told her the thing about the crazy girls... It was a crazy night. I had alot of fun at this show... the 2 crazys didn't ruin a thing.
