OK...Now where should I start?...I guess I'll begin by telling you about myself. My name is L'Kela (pronounced: LaKayLa). I'm 24 years old. I have long brown hair, brown eyes, and I'm 5'3" short...hehehe. I'm from East Hampton, Long Island(NY). I live with my boyfriend, James, and we have a beautiful little boy, Tyler, who is almost 4 1/2 years old. He's my pride and joy. He already has a goal in life and that is to give me grey hairs before I turn 25...LOL

I love animals (all kinds) and right now i have 6 cats in my house. There is Esmerelda, (named by my son after a character in Disney's "The Hunchback of Notre Dame"). She had her first litter of kittens about 8 or 9 months ago and we kept one, Calliope, (named after a character in Disney's "Hercules"). Esmerelda, I forgot to add, is a little SLUT..lol, and she had her second litter of kittens about 7 or 8 weeks ago. We are definately keeping one of the kittens, a calico, named Ciera. Shes beautiful but already has exhibited a liking for men...I'm surrounded by tramps. I have named all the kittens...just because i wanted too..lol. They are: Rascal (male), Figaro (male), and last but not least, Freako (female). Freako was recently renamed KELA by my b/f because she has a tendancy to run into walls and glass doors...She is slightly...er...well...she's not all there...IF ya know what i mean...lol But I adore her.

Let's see...What else? I come from a VERY musical family. My mother is a wonderful singer. She has sung with a few great artists such as: Little Feat, Bonnie Rait, and Robert Palmer. My father plays the drums. He's excellent! They were in a band together when they were in college. They played together for years before I came along and then they STILL kept on playing. :o) I was a TRUE bar-baby..lol. I went to a John Lee Hooker concert when I was just 5 months old and I also saw Earth, Wind, and Fire (WHO¿?¿..hehe) when I wasn't much older than that.

I have two sisters: Arlethia Rose, 17, and Jayleen, 18. We all have inherited the musical talent from our parents. I used to play the piano and flute very well until a bad accident at the age of 11 rendered me unable to. I can still sing, though. I was in a band called The Chiefs with my parents when I was 17. We were GREAT!! Now I have my own family and my sister, Rose has taken over my spot. She has one of the best voices I have ever heard. This past summer, she sang at a benefit in which one of the guests of honor was the First Lady, Hillary Clinton. She also plays the saxophone...boy can she wail out some tunes on that! My other sister, Jayleen, attends Bryn Mawr College in Pennsylvania. She has gotten numerous scholarships for different things. Jayleen plays the violin extremely well and she can also sing. As you can so obviously tell, I'm very proud of my family and I love them very much. Whenever we get together we have a great time. We all have the same sense of humor...WACKY!!!

Soooo...Now that you're totally bored stiff from learning all about me, let's move on.
