Section Five

Infernals, Abominations, and Fomori

The following character concepts have historically been abused due to the inherent nature of how they can be more powerful on average than other character types. Power gamers tend to abuse these character concepts, playing them because of the "power" they have without ever giving any though as to the concept of the characters and how they would really act. The following provisions are designed to curb this abuse. They have been remarkably

effective with regards to Infernals and are now expanded to Abominations and Fomori.

Infernals - Infernals will be accepted as PCs but they do not get Demonic Investments or access to Dark Thaumaturgy. This may be controversial to some but the game needs to get back to the classic conflict of Camarilla politics and Camarilla vs. Sabbat vs. Anarch. Infernals are despised by all and would be highly impractical to play anyway. Additionally, I foresee seeing many try to circumvent the Guidelines by "going Infernal" to gain

additional powers, usually without giving any consideration to the host of negatives that accompany being Infernal. By removing the power aspect of the Infernal concept, only those who are truly interested in roleplaying the character concept will choose the Infernal concept. The Path of Evil Revelations is a very demanding path to follow and its very difficult to RP practically.

Abominations - Abominations, even though identified specifically by WW as PC concepts that could be abused by power players, will be accepted. However, an Abomination will only have access to their Kindred powers. No Garou powers of any kind (Talons, Fetishes, Gifts, Rites, etc) can be used by the Abomination. The reasoning is the same with Abominations as with Infernals for "powering them down" in this manner.

Fomori - Mortal Fomori are acecpted and can use the powers as outlined in the Freak Legion book. Supernatural character types can not use Fomori powers under any circumstances. If someone brings on a Mortal Fomori and that character is Embraced then all Fomori powers are lost. Again, the reasoning is the same as with Abominations and Infernals.
