Description: 16 year old Kenny Wangler was charged as an adult and sentenced to 20 years in Oz. Wangler was in awe of Kareem Said, a man he regularly watched on television. It looked as thought Kenny would convert to Islam and joins The Muslims, but Kenny couldn't lead a drug free life and instead turned to The Gangstas. Became the right hand man to Adebisi. Robbed senior citizen prisoner Bob Rebadowe. Regualrly angered Tim McManus by his actions. On one occasion, Tim choked Wangler half way to death. When the drugs ran out during the riot Adebisi tried to kill Kenny for no apparent reason.

When McManus instituted his Em City education program, he approached Wangler with a deal-he go to the classes, learn to read, and get his GED and he won't have to wash the windows at Oz anymore. Wangler agreed and was making great progress in reading...until Adebisi caught wind of what was going on and disapproved. Wangler started getting in fights during class (as a way to look tough and get educated at the same time) and was banned from graduation. When Adebisi was committed to the mental ward, Wangler took control of The Gangstas. With Antonio Nappa's seizing control of the Oz drug trade, Wangler knew the only way to make any money off drugs now would be to join Nappa. Wangler and Nappa were now business partners, and as a sign of good faith, Wangler and another Gangsta killed Adebisi's buddy Kip Kemy Jar
