leadership over The Latinos and started leaving Miguel out. Miguel got fed up one day and asked El Cid what can he do
to prove himself to him. El Cid pointed over to Officer Rivera- a former member of a rival gang, and told
Miguel dame los ojos- Spanish for "give me those
eyes". Miguel now found himself in a "no win" situation. If
he takes out the guard's eyes, the C.Os are gonna kill
him. If he doesn't take out Rivera's eyes, El Cid will
kill him. Miguel evetually does pluck out the guard's eyes and ended up in solitary confinement. After Miguel was caught, El Cid remarked in a
not so sincere tone "I feel bad for him, he really did have balls".
