The following info I received from the American Jewish Historical Society: The Concise Dictionary of American Jewish Biography (Brooklyn, NY: Carlson Publishing, Inc., 1994) lists the following citation for Daniel Persky: Persky, Daniel; b. Minsk, Aug 18, 1890/1892/1893;
d. NYC, Mar 15 1962. To NYC 1903/1906/1907. Heb writer, journalist; Hebraist; pioneer reviver of Heb; editor childrens magazines; an orgr [organizer] Histraduth Ivrith of Am. [America]. See Universal Jewish Encyclopedia; Encyclopedia Judaica; American Jewish Yearbook, 64:495; Who's Who in American Jewry, 1928, 1938; Congress Bi-Weekly, Apr 16, 1962; New York Times, Mar 16, 1962, 31:3.

With the above info, I tried to find more material OnLine. Make long story short, I Emailed an inquiry about the Congress Bi-Weekly to the Reference Librarians in the Newspaper and Current Periodical Room at the Library of Congress. They referred me to The Mendel Gottesman Library of Yeshiva University. I went there, and was very glad to photocopy the article "Daniel Persky: A Slave unto Hebrew", by Harold U. Ribalow. Great article! I will be, soon, in pursue of more material about Persky.
