On July 16th 'N SYNC played @ Molson Amphatheatre in Toronto, Ontario at 8:00p.m. The opening
band was a girl group from Engalnd called N-TYCE. They were like spice girls meet all saints.
They played three songs, which made some N SYNC fans quite happy. Then it was about
30 minutes or so before N SYNC came on. It may have been less, but being squished
up against a security barrier in around 30 degree heat made it seem like eternity.
During the long wait, N SYNC could be heard behind a large curtain testing their
mics. Finally they appeared after the curtain fell. They all had space like suits
and helmets. They did a really cool dance, then took off the helmets and suits
and started their first song. A few songs in to the concert they introduced themselves.
They followed with songs like God must, and Stayin' Alive(wow Chris can
go really high). They did almost all of
their songs but, I need love, Everything I own, and Sailing. The show NEVER STOPPED.
There was almost always dancing. The dancing, by the way was unbelievable. They
are very talented. About the middle of the concert, they brought out the WATER GUNS!
The first about 10 rows got wet. But mostly the first 5. I got soaked by Joey, Chris, and Justin.
Justin couldn't really work them. Chris amused everyone by saying," SAY HELLO TO MY LITTLE FRIEND".
Before soaking us. Even with the craziness of the fans, Joey and Chris still leaned down
afew times to get close to the fans. Joey along with MANY winks and waves that he
gave out to the crowd, kissed his fingers and touched afew fans that could reach.
I was also holding a sign that Joey and Chris almost grabbed, but had to go sing.
So I ended up just chucking it on stage. Near the end of the concert, before "Here we go".
The group split into two group. Joey and Justin on our side, and Lance and J.C on the other side.
Chris would be the ref for a little screaming match. Our side would yell " yes, yes here go "
on Joey and Justin's cue. Than the other side would try and be louder by yelling " N SYNC has got the flow".
Justin didn't think we were loud enough so he started to go to the other side. Until
our side screamed really loudly. We got even louder when the other side was threatened
with Lance giving our side his underwear if they lost. We won, but no undies!
I'm not sure exactly when this was, but at some point the group introduced their band.
Each N SYNCER talked about a band member, and them giving a little demo of their skills. Justin
introduced the groups coreographer, I think who sported almost the exact same hair do.
After about three costume changes, tonnes of songs, many wicked dance routines, and one
really loud crowd, the concert was winding down. They preformed their last song, took a group
bow and left the stage. Everyone knew they where coming back, but we still chanted N SYNC N SYNC.......
They came back for Tearin' up my heart which the whole place loved. They thanked Toronto
and the fans, then started to leave. Not before J.C could do A KARTWHEEL AND 3 BACK FLIPS ACROSS THE STAGE!!
Justin attempted a kartwheel, which was really cute, then was like YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAA!
That was funny. Than the left for good, and everyone just stood around. Some girls ran out to try and catch
their bus, almost getting run over in the process but no luck. Over all the concert was
AMAZING. What else can I say. I have been to a rock concert before, with way more
people. Nothing compared to this. The fans energy, the groups energy, and all the
FUN! It's a good concert for even non-fans because it's so FUN and ENTERTAINING. I don't know
how after a show like that you could not be a fan. Make sure you get tickets if they come to a
venue near you. Even if you are not front row, it is still awesome as I have heard from many
people.
OVER ALL THIS CONCERT WAS A 10/10!!!!!!!!!!!
