Eyes wet, mind black
throbbing scars
etched
white heat, searing.
Drops sizzling
upon arid
flesh
burning, marking.
Desolation within
without, around
forlorn
spurned, rejected.
Anger, hatred
of them,
yourself
despised, alone.
Swollen, seeping
red wounds
bleed
scabbing, ugly.
Darkest night
echoing vastness
inside
this remains.
Searching deep
feeling forsaken
accepting,
finally healing
