NUT COOKIES



2 cups flour, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 200 g (7 oz.) butter,200 g nuts, pinch salt.

Mix together finely ground nuts, sifted flour, salt, and butter, and break up with a knife. Add 2 eggs and let stand in a cool place to rise. Roll out dough to 1/2 cm (1/5 in.), cut out cookies with a form or knife, glaze with beaten egg and bake in a medium hot oven.
