Sunday, Dec. 6 will be the final DJ meeting of the semester. All of you NBO-ites be sure to show up, because there's gonna be a rumble. The awards for DJ and staff member of the semester have already been rigged, and everybody must come to see what board of director will win this year. You'd better believe the New Buzz Order rules, brother, and in honor of the Oddball, who has recently retired due to excessive pressure from the board, let's show who truly has the clout on this campus. Third Eye Blind forever.

The Buzz, WSBU-FM operates at 88.3 megahurtz on the FM dial. It provides the campus of St. Bonaventure University with gutsy modern rock, and can easily be mistaken for a commercial station. Yes, that's how professional it is, folks. You have no idea.

With each Dave Matthews Band song that the station plays, the more students appreciate the station's artistic vision. Did I mention that the station is professional? Well, it is.

The Buzz (or WSBU) is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To express their love for the Buzz staff, the Board of Directors only charged $17 a ticket to witness the WSBU Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

If you thought that there wasn't enough ego to go around, you're in for a surprise. And to top it off they booked one of the best mediocre modern rock bands in the area, Red Light District. Oh yeah, did I mention that they got to go to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the THIRD year in a row? They must be really special to this university.

COMING SOON! The entire newsletter sent by The Dr. to all of the Buzz DJs, informing them of their shortcomings.

Here's an exclusive look into station manager DJ Cramer's e-mail to all of us lowly DJs. These are some excerpts in which the executor of the weekend whistle tells us how we can have shows like the Friday Free-For All. Notice his biting wit when he talks about kicking people off the station.
Secondly, if you can't make your show, you need to get a sub. "Skipping shows" can contribute to a premature retirement from the Buzz (which is the Southern tier's modern rock authority).
When you take a commercial break, ALWAYS play at least two different carts. Please DO NOT stop the music, play 1 promo, and then start the music again . . . this sounds choppy.
There are a very few who are still saying WSBU and Bona's Best Rock. These died with Roy Rogers. Please use 88.3 the Buzz and The Buzz exclusively.
Now Cramer, don't you realize that anything Roy Rogers ever did was 100 times hipper than the Buzz? When I think Buzz, I think Matchbox 20. Oh well, at least they're not cheesy.
