• 24-hour access to GIAA Hotline Number including casting, events and GIAA stage performers location and reservation announcements.
• Inclusion in the Italian American Players Directory at a nominal cost. The book is distributed nationally to casting directors, agents , managers and producers. It will include picture, key credits and contact numbers.
• GIAA receives calls who cast projects from off-off Broadway to major motion pictures. Your picture and resume will be submitted if you fit the character brakdown. GIAA requires no fees or commissions for the referral. Picure and resume website in development.
• If GIAA is the first talent union you join, upon eligibility ( GIAA is your mother union ) , you will receive a sizeable discount from the initiation fees for SAG, AEA, etc, and dues will be reduced.
• GIAA associates with ACIM, the American Committee on Italian Migration to offer help to all immigration matters and assist in pension collections through ACLI, in the GIAA building.
• The Italian American Actors Studio inc. aka Studio 44 , offers reduced rehearsal space rates to GIAA members.
• Receive copy of Industry Discount Directory where your valid membership card makes you eligible for considerable discounts at many photography studios, printers, restaurants and more.
• Casting and Networking Workshops and Seminars where GIAA memebrs exclusively meet one-on-one with Casting Directors, Agents, managers and producers.
• Acting Workshops made available by a UNICO grant, at no charge to GIAA memebrs
