Isaac DONSHEA married Rebeckah BROWNING at Christ Church Greyfriars, Newgate, London on 4 April 1829. This is the only DONSHEA entry found to date in the International Genealogical Index (IGI) produced by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Isaac DONSHEA and B. DONSHEA are recorded in Orleans Parish in the City of New Orleans on the 1840 U.S. Federal Census.

NEW JERSEY ~ HUDSON COUNTY, JERSEY CITY
OBIT: Robert DONSHEA, born abt 1827 NY, moved to Jersey City, NJ about 1861 where he lived until his death on 12 Nov 1893 at 65 York Street. Donshea had a kindling wood factory at 98 Morgan St. and was an ardent yachtsman. He was commodore of the Jersey City Yacht Club and built the "Knight Templar," which in her day was peerless, and even now (1893) is regarded as a very fast boat. DONSHEA was a member of Hiram Lodge F. & A.M., and Hugh de Payens Commandery of Knights Templar (Freemasons). He was highly respected and a solid friend to his friends. DONSHEA was buried in New York Bay Cemetery.

OBIT: James DUNSHEE, born 15 Aug 1817 in the Fourteenth Ward of NYC, NY, son of Samuel DUNSHEE, a NYC Alderman; died 21 Nov 1881 at 215 E. 52nd St., NYC - the home of his daughter Mrs. John W. WILLIAMS. James DUNSHEE was Assistant Treasurer of the Collegiate Dutch Reformed Church for the previous 24 years. James was survived by two sons and a daughter. His wife had died three years earlier. New York Times, 23 November 1881, p. 2, col. 5.

Los Angeles, May 20-- William Adams DUNSHEE, a pioneer in the Pittsburgh steel industry, died 20 May 1925 in Los Angeles at the age of 75. He was a former president of Duquesne Tube Works and a counsel for National Tube Works which became part of the U.S. Steel Corp. DUNSHEE was a Scottish Rite Mason, a Shriner, and a charter member of the Duquesne Club of Pittsburgh. He left behind a wife, two sisters, Mrs. Edmund C. CONVERSE and Miss Margaret DUNSHEE, both of New York, and a brother Johnstone F. DUNSHEE of McKeesport (PA). New York Times, 21 May 1925, p. 23, col. 4.
