"So, how do we get back together with the two of them without them knowing?" Jen asked Pacey.
"Well, we just find out the qualities in each other that they don't like." Pacey answered as if it were totally obvious.
"That seems impossible. They've been best friends for ten years, I don't think they have qualities about each other they hate."
"Not true, you just don't know them well enough. For example, Joey hates it when Dawson scares her or talks in his sleep. And, Dawson hates it when Joey cries or goes on a diet cuz she gets cranky."
"How revealing!" Jen said with a laugh
"And that's not all, there are tons of little things that they do to each other that drives them completely nuts!"
"But, they are so in love with each other right now they won't even notice." Jen said logically
"Trust me, if we try hard enough they will most definitely notice."
"OK, so lets first think of every little thing we can so that we can start planning ways to make it happen, K?" Jen said
"OK, things about Joey that Dawson hates. Let me think. He hates it when she... wears skirts (long story), grinds her teeth in her sleep, watches romantic movies and cries from them, and he especially hates it when she isn't around."
"So, we have to get her to wear a skirt while on a diet, and watch a romantic movie, cry at it, all while grinding her teeth in her sleep and then take her away from him for long periods of time???" Jen asked sarcastically.
"Yeah, I guess so!"
"Well, what does Joey hate about Dawson?"
"Tons of stuff! She hates it when Dawson watches pointless movies, quotes Spielberg, eats peanut butter and mayonnaise sandwiches, when he tries to dance, and when she is away from him."
"So, we have to get him to watch Pauly Shore movies while quoting Jurassic Park, and eat those disgusting sandwiches while dancing and then take him away from her???" Jen said sarcastically again.
"Exactly. So lets get started."
"Pacey, I'm starting to doubt the realism of this little plan. Maybe we should just accept the fact that they are together and spend our pathetic miserable lives waiting for them to see us."
"Damn Jen, I'm really starting to think you didn't love Dawson as much as I thought you did. I don't know about you but I love Joey so much I spend every waking minute, which is more than usual, cuz I can't sleep because I love her so much, and my entire thought process and mental status can be turned to mush just by the sound of her voice. So if you don't feel that strongly about Dawson then I guess I'm just gonna have to do this on my own." Pacey said angrily.
"I do love Dawson. But, I'm just not sure if revenge is the best tactic for proving our love. They might interpret it as us not caring about their feelings and think we are being selfish."
"Maybe so, but I just can't sit by and pretend like I don't give a damn while inside my heart is being torn from my chest." Pacey said with tears in his voice.
Suddenly a song came on the radio that made them think about the conversation they had just had.

"Sound like anyone we know?" Pacey asked.
"Yeah, I guess it does. They were the best of friends. And they were more than that. They always were."
"I remember when we were in junior high and we had to do a project where you got married and had a child. Well, Dawson and Joey were assigned to be married and I'll give you one guess as to who got to be their child." Pacey said
"I'm sure you made an adorable child Pacey, you even have your mothers eyes and your fathers height!" Jen said dying of laughter.
"Yeah well, even then they took the project a lot more seriously than the rest of us. They just had that connection that they have never lost."
"Is it me or are we sitting here describing how perfect Dawson and Joey are together??" Jen said seriously
"Yeah, I guess we are. I wish I didn't love her so much, this would be a lot easier."
"I know exactly how you feel."
"Lets forget this whole plan deal, K Jen? Lets just give this whole thing a chance and who knows, maybe they will choose us over each other?"
"I guess you are right Pacey. We will just have to put our feelings on hold and drown our sorrows in cookie dough ice cream and cheesy romantic movies"

Explanation: I originally planned for Jen and Pacey to get together, and then I decided they were going to have an elaborate plan to break up Dawson and Joey, and then I decided the hell with it, let Dawson and Joey end up together and just end the series. I'll start completely over with a Pacey and Joey series, as well as, some single stories, mostly parodies of movies such as "Pacey Witters Day Off" or "Joey the Vampire Slayer" etc.
