January 2000 Slowly but surely we are getting back
to our regular schedule. Hooray!!!
January 2, 2000, Sunday: We are still working on the Millenium
Year 2000 changeover with our webpage and computer listserv
activities through the United Nations communities. We made
it past the dreaded Y2K night and day safely and will continue
our direct monitor thought May 2000 and review procedures
through Year 2002. WELCOME TO THE NEW MILLENIUM!!!!!
January 9, 2000, Sunday: We continue with cleanup and
support to last week's needs. Slowly, we are recovering
from the day by day handshakes system we had to use from
October 1999 onward.
January 16, 2000: There is a FLU going around. For issues
of public health safety and the very cold weather, today's
ride is postponed.
January 23, 2000: The FLU outbreak continues and is even
worse than last week. And the weather is colder. A few
stalwarts went out but the CBPC Ride again was postponed.
January 30, 2000: We attended a community organizing meeting
and my Columbia Mountain Pro bicycle disappeared. No riding
today!!!!!
