I have chronic kidney stones (one of which I am currently in pain from), sleep disorders, and the mental illnesses I already mentioned. But I have to keep doing what I need to do. Namely, being a mom. Being a mom includes working full-time to help Curtis pay the bills and give the kids nice things.

My job sucks. I can't describe it any other way! I do tech support for a cable internet company and we get some really cranky people who call us up. Some days, I swear there is a direct line to me. When people call up, they get their choices: "Press one for technical support, tw for billing, three if you are irate and/or cannot speak English. We will transfer you to Cari". Argh. Yes, I know I am exaggerating. That doesn't happen. The irates magically find me. "Sorry sir, but if your computer does not turn on, I cannot get you back online" can make a person swear in ways you could never imagine!

Some people call up and have no idea about anything to do with computers. Not a big deal, really but when they get mad because I ask them what version of Windows, or what Mac OS they have and they don't know, it makes me angry! Or the ones who blame me for the virus on their computer. Yes, I go out of my way to send each and every one of our customers a virus. What else have I go to do with my time? I wonder how they would like it if I called them from the office to swear and scream at them.
