Autumn Shade

for you and me

in trees of autumn shades

dance among the madrigals song

as it echoes among the clouds

while children whisper in the distance

on how their balloons float among blue treetops

questioning their importance

as they continue to wonder

and look toward the distance

with a funnel not far off

twirling in circles among the branches
