From: David M. Stewart Status: Titanic Fanatic Comments: "Titanic was a brilliant movie. I enjoyed the action most. (I.E: Peopel
running aft. as the water swirls around the foyer of teh Grand Staircase.) The love story was also very...nice, a little slow...at most parts, and it wasn't that realistic (The Love Story). I mean--in the ending I think 'Rose Calvert' should have hugged her husband, not her little crush 'Jack'. Overall, the acting was poor; Graphics: Great; Storyline: Slow, at most parts, but the authenticity of the sets, that was magnificent! This person's site:Titanic
Fanatics From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: That movie had nothing original and nothing new. It obviously appealed to the lowest common denominator. To those who argue that it must have been an exceptional movie because it won 11 academy awards and grossed $600 million, that only means that the American public has sunk to a new low and that the Academy has followed them. It had a completely unoriginal love story which was obviously created at the last minute after James Cameron realized that he had spent all of his $200 million on set decoration and special effects. The script was over-cliched with far too much comtemporary dialogue (i.e. "Rose, you're so stupid").
From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: i totally agree with you the movie titanic is completely over-rated and all of the merchandise being sold now is worthless crap. all they are doing is making money off of the death of innocent people and making a movie for the hormornal teenage girls of the world. thanks ........ it feels good not be the only one.
From: *private* Status: Titanic Fanatic Comments: 1. Have you seen the movie Titanic at all? Yup! about 30 times 2. What is it that you hate most about the movie? It was perfect in every way 3. How could the movie have been more interesting for you? sob.. sob.. Jack could have lived. but that's what made it so dramatic..
Look I know what you must be thinking.. poor little rich girl(sorry I went off into a titanic line there. sorry Im OBSESSED!!) but anywayz I know what you must be thinking.. "Ahh.. a Titanic fan, what the fuck is she doing here?" well I'm telling you, I have some anti titanic fans and they like to read these pages, (while I like to read the TITANIC OBSESSED pages.) but anyway I do think these anti titanic pages are quite funny.. And I hope your not offended by me responding, please email me back..
From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: I am so happy to know I'm not the only person who hates "the stupid ship movie" It drives me crazy to see everyone waist there money and time on it's merchandise. I'm fourteen years old and is expected to love Titanic and like worship Leonardo DiCaprio, by my classmates. Which makes me want to puke each time i think about it. I've never seen the movie and hope to never do so. As for now I'm just glad the previews on television have gone down somewhat from the millions a couple of weeks ago.
From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: 1. Have you seen the movie Titanic at all? unfortunately, yes...waste of time if you ask me.....i could have been reading war and peace! 2. What is it that you hate most about the movie? the fact that the movie had nothing to do with the titanic, it wasent about the ship it was about a minor relationship that is unreal and more fantasy than reality. but the absolute worst part in it was how leonardo dicapitate kept saying "this could be bad" well duh!! the ship is sinking and your tied up to a post! and when your trying to rescue your love that is chained up with an ax while the room is filling up with water, you dont have time to practice your aim on a piece of furnature! 3. How could the movie have been more interesting for you? if you ask me i think it would have been more interesting if after leo died, rose commited suicide or something, that would have made my day! and in the end they would find the necklace(which i dont understand how that could be a symbol of there love since it was given to her by the man she didnt love) and the necklace was put in a museum or something for remembering the titanic.
From: *private* Status: Antitanic? Comments: the movie understates the actual tragedy by blowing the romance thing way out of proportion, so that dominates the theme rather than the historical, factual part. its showbiz thats messed up.
From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: I AM COMPLETELY AGAINST TITANIC IN ALL ITS FORMS PUT ME IN WHAT EVER AGE GROUP YOU WANT . SINK THE BOAT, STAR WARS FOREVER
From: *private* Status: Antitanic Comments: I HAVE SEEN THE FILM, I AM COMPLETELY AND UTTERLY DESCUSTED WITH IT. WHAT I HATED MOST ABOUT IT WAS IT BEAT STAR WARS IN THE BOX OFFICE. AND I AM SURE YOU AGREE STAR WARS WAS A MUCH BETTER FILM. BUT WE ANTI TITANICS SOULDN'T WORRY TOO MUCH FOR THE STAR WARS PREQUELS WILL SOON BE HERE. AS ONE ANTI TITANIC TO ANOTHER I ADVISE YOU AND OTHER ANTI TITANICS TO DO THE SAME , BECAUSE IT COULD MEAN THE DESTRUCTION OF "titanic" . THE MOVIE WOULD HAVE BEEN MORE INTRESTING IF IT WERE NEVER MADE.I AM A TEEN
From: *private* Status: Titanic Fanatic Comments: you make me sick.titanic is not only dramaed fiction but a horrable truth not about some love story but of a story in memory of many people that died all at almost the same time imagne you were on titanic you wouldn't feel the same way and i bet you saw the movie 500 times before being imbarest by others that didn't like titanic and sorroly they got to you i just want to say i feel bad for you.and also there are more of us then there are you.
