dealt with Italian Jet plans, I think some German
due to the look of the Kikka,
given to Japan. They sought to thwart the B29s.

Using two jets in wing pods loaded down planes.
But using a single center engine, damaged tail controls
due to hot exhaust; as the story went, so a center
engine small plane, the shinryu, with front a control wing was
developed to quickly reach the B29s and use
air to air missiles.
When you were younger you dressed yourself and went where you pleased,
when you are old someone will dress you and lead you where you do
not want to go.
From the Sunday, 4/29/01, Gospel and it made me think of elder care in
nursing homes and the home bound.
It may pertain to the fate of St. Peter, but also sounds like the end for many of us as well.
Yet another memorable sermon from Father Anthony, Sunday 5/6/01, the above
was part of the reading and did not touch on the sermon from Father Martin which was basicly to love one another.
A man was hiking alone by the Grand Canyon and came too close to the edge.
The ground underneath gave way and he fell 50ft only to be caught on an
outcroping vegetation. He yelled out, HELP IS ANYONE UP THERE. Yes said
a voice from above. Who are you, how can you help. I am the Lord and you need
to let go. He was 1000ft above the Canyon bottom. The man then then yelled out:
IS THERE ANYONE ELSE UP THERE
Well, the Lord is there for you, the Good Shepherd story.
He says to LET GO of you vexing thoughts and think of HIM.
HE knows HIS sheep, and HIS sheep know HIM.
It was quite a tense adventure, but it struck home.
Better, or getting more out of it than following some movie or story through
situations to find out what happens next.

IN 1968 NY MOVES IN THE SUMMER WIND
Allright, a story. The Singer Bowl was built for the last Worlds Fair
in Flushing. They had demolition derby as one attraction. Freeport LI had
the derby years ago broadcast on local NY TV. Later on I heard someone
mention his years as a derby winner. He bought old station wagons and
backed into fronts of other cars.
Woodstock.
Did not go.
At the NY Rock Festival:
SoftMachine, Chambers Brothers and Janis Joplin and Big Brother And The
Holding Company that came on before Hendrix. The Hendrix website records
his performance but does not mention the others in the Singer Bowl.
The outdoor stadium in Flushing, NY used now for Tennis was the site
of the Singer Bowl. I did not go to Woodstock because I had been near
there years back and knew its was an artist's community. Also, the high
profile Bob Dylan had resided there for quite a while. I could not figure in
my mind this big gathering taking place there, it did not. So the story is,
I was pondering going back there, although probably not and just talking
options, when someone said: "There's going to be a rock concert in
Woodstock". I opted out: "No way, a big traffic and people jam will occur."
And no need for tickets. Yeah right I was going to buy a ticket, not.
"There goes my summer vacation, ruined by a Woodstock rock mob."
