Jason's Omaha Pictures

After putting together the last three sets, I found that there were still a few scraps left over that didn't really fit into those sets but should be seen nonetheless. Here are the leftovers...

These first shots are just Eric, Mom and I hanging around the apartment.

While the Air and Space museum did have lots to offer, there was one section of that was curiously empty. Eric makes a statement to that effect by examining the empty walls.

For some reason the ASM also contained an exhibit on GI Joe.

However, I'm more partial to Astronaut Barbie myself.

We took this picture because it just seemed funny that the Nazis even had a swastika on their undershirts! Who would see that?! Although officially we took this picture because it contains a real Engima code machine.

I tried getting a good shot of the Penguins at the Zoo, but it didn't quite turn out. There were more penguins swimming underwater but they were too dark to see in the picture, so I cropped them out.

Here is a wide-angle view that better gives you some idea as to the number of Coy fish at the Henry Doorly Zoo.

I surprised Mom and Eric at the Durham Museum as they checked out the upper level of the caboose.

Across the way from the Durham museum is the remains of what was going to be the 9ines apartments. It was the old Butternut Coffee building that was being renovated into upscale lofts but unfortunately burned down earlier this year.

This is the only shot I have from the Dave Chappelle show we attended while he was in town. They didn't allow pictures during the show, so I took this picture of the ticket just to have something!

Finally, here was Eric getting ready for our night out at Dave Chappelle, looking all Columbo on us! He ended up wearing something a little more appropriate in the end but wanted to show off the nice clothes he had (for some reason) brought out.

Well, that's it! All of the good pictures from Eric and Mom's visit to Omaha. I think we all had an excellent vacation. Until next time...!
