My Hero By Karen
I think a
hero would be brave, kind, respectful, and truthful to
people. Heroes can do a lot of nice things for other
people. Heroes use their time to help people when they
need it. For example my grandma is my hero. She does a
lot of things for me and with me. If my parents are going
out to diner with some friends and aren't coming home
until really late sometimes I go over to my grandma's
house and we do a lot of fun things together. Once she
even taught me how to knit. It was hard at first but she
kept helping me and I got it! Sometimes she takes me
swimming after school we have a lot of fun! After, we go
to diner at one of my favorite place Rocky Rococo's!
To make her proud of me I will be nice like her to my
grandchildren. I'll help them if they're with me when
they need help, and I'll teach them to do fun things!
I'll take them to get ice cream just like she does with
me. I will be super nice to all the people I know. Also
to make her proud of me I will just be myself and respect
others. That is why my grandma is my hero!

A hero is
someone who either risks their life for the love of
others or has the courage to do something brave, like
Amelia Earhart. She flew a plane all the way across the
Atlantic Ocean. Not many people know about her. They just
like Lucky Lindbergh because he is a man and can do
whatever he wants.
I can make Amelia proud by not giving up on something I
really want to do. For instance if I wanted to donate
things to my church St. Monica's that's what I would do.
If I wanted to fly a plane across the Pacific Ocean,
that's what I would do. I would prepare by studying
airplanes, learn how they worked and in a few years I
would be in airplane having the ride of my life! Amelia
would be so proud of me.

To me a
hero is proud yet friendly. A hero is also helpful. An
example of a hero is Rosa Parks. My hero is my mom
because she always helps me do my homework if I need help
with it. She also helps me spell words if I don't know
how to spell them. Another reason I choose my mom to be
my hero is because she always there when I need her. If I
need something or someone I know I can always depend on
my mom.
To make my hero proud of me I could help my sister learn
how to read. I could do that by sitting next to her and I
could help her if she doesn't get a word, or if she
doesn't know what a word means. Another thing I could do
to make my hero proud of me is I could train my dog more.
To do that I could work with her every day for 15 min.
and then I could take her for a walk. That's what I could
do to make my hero proud of me.

What is a
hero? A hero is someone who always pursues his or her
dreams. Martin Luther King Jr. is my hero because he
didn't stop pursuing his dream of stopping
segregation.
I could make Martin Luther King Jr. proud by always
talking out my problems or fights. I would make that
happen by talking my way out of the problems or fights I
got into instead of being mean and calling people names
they don't like. Another way is not to let other people
push around or take advantage of other people.

My hero
would be someone that is kind, brave, and helpful like
Martin Luther King Jr. or Rosa parks, but my hero is my
Dad. The reason I chose my dad as my hero is because he
has always been there for me especially when I learned
how to ride a bike. The reason I chose my dad as my hero
is because he is kind, brave and helpful. I admire my dad
because he has almost been to every country in the world
and he is always a great dad. I think a way I could make
my hero proud is to have the best grades I can and do the
best I can.
I think I am a hero to a boy down the street from me. The
reason I am a hero to that boy is because I help him a
lot and right now he is learning how to ride a bike and I
help him balance. That is the reason I think I'm a
hero.

A hero is
someone who is kind to others. A hero is brave; heroes
need to be brave so they can stand up to others, and for
others. Heroes are very smart people, heroes need to be
smart because if the weren't they would do stupid things
like jump off a building. That's why my hero is Rosa
Parks.
My hero is Rosa Parks because she showed me the courage
to stand up to others. She also gave me the courage to
stand up for my friends, just like she stood up for all
blacks right. Rosa Parks gave blacks the courage to do
what they want to do. She probably gave Martin Luther
King Jr. courage too.
I'm trying to make my hero proud by standing up for
others and showing that I have courage.

Have you
ever thought to yourself "what is a hero?" If you ask me
I think a hero is someone who is thoughtful, encouraging,
helping, fair, smart, and gives great advice. Also they
are brave to stick up to others. My hero is someone who
has helped me through everything. She is my sister Emily.
She is always there for me when I need help with
homework, gives me advice with friends, and helps me
practice basketball, tennis, and soccer. She is all the
things a hero is and more. Emily will encourage
everything I chose to do with my life.
To make my hero proud of me, I will do things just like
her because she is my role model. But I'm not exactly
like her because I also want to be myself. I will help my
little brothers with their homework when they're stuck. I
will be thoughtful and encouraging to them so they follow
their dreams. I will give them advice with friends. I
will stick up for them when they are having a tough time
in school or with friends. I will also help them not make
bad choices but most of all encourage them to follow
their dreams and feel happy about themselves and their
life.

I think a hero can be anybody really. It can be
somebody that saved you or it can be a sibling or your
parents. My hero is my brother because he likes to do
cool stuff with me and he helps me with my homework
sometimes. He can be very trustful to me and watches me
sometimes. He's the best brother of all. He knows I look
up to him so he tries to be good in front of me. This is
why my brother is my hero. He'll always be there for me
and we love another because we're family and family is
supposed to love each other.

A hero is
brave, kind and nice. Rosa Parks was a hero because of
the boycott of the bus, so everyone had to walk every
day. Rosa Parks said no to a white man on the bus because
she was too tired. So Rosa Parks got arrested by the
police.
I admire Rosa Parks because if I were to go anywhere on a
bus when Rosa Parks was alive I would have to sit in the
back of the bus. Any bus I went on I would have to sit in
the back of any bus. I like learning about Rosa Parks
because she is cool.
My Favorite Hero By Nick
To me, a
hero is someone who always sticks up for you. They will
risk anything to help you when you're in trouble. When
you are sad, they will try to cheer you up. If you are
having problems with something, they will try to help you
out. Heroes will always stay by your side, always ready
to help. That is what I think a hero is.
My hero is my mother. She is my hero because she goes
lots of places just for me, even if she doesn't want to
go to those places. She always comes to the programs I'm
in. When I'm sad, she always tries to cheer me up. When
we go to the store, she always lets me get lots of cool
things. She always helps me when I'm stuck. That is why
my mother is my hero.
I could make my hero proud by trying to comfort people
who are sad and helping people out when they are stuck on
something.
My Hero By Robby
A hero is
someone who is kind, a nice person, a generous person, a
person who seems to be the nicest person on the planet. A
hero is also someone who makes a difference in the world
and can save someone's life either from danger or by
putting someone else's life in danger.
My hero is my mom because she takes care of me and helps
me with homework if I'm stuck or I need someone to check
my homework with. My Mom also helps the city by answering
phones at the Whitefish Bay Village Hall in the police
department, because she is a dispatcher. When you dial
911 she answers the telephone and tells the police where
to go to help people. If there were no dispatchers no one
would answer the phone and the police couldn't come.
That's why my mom is my hero. I could make my hero proud
of me by helping people and taking care of my
pets.
My Hero By Spencer
A hero is
someone that helps another person. A hero doesn't have to
be famous, you or I could be a hero some day to someone
else by giving our old stuff to a charity or donating
money to a trust fund. My hero is my Dad because he helps
me with my projects and with my homework.
I could make him proud by helping someone out with his or
her homework, or helping someone out with a
problem.
