Daddy

Nobody knows my daddy, but he means the world to me.
He was everything my father wasn't, he took care of me.
He listened when nobody else would, he always helped me out.
He is always going to be here for me, I believe that without a doubt.
My father walked away, and daddy stepped right in.
I know with daddy by my side, every battle I will win.
He has been more to me that a father, he has been my best friend.
And he will always be my hero, from now until then.
I will always look up to him, 'til the earth no longer twirls.
And there will never be a day I'm no longer daddy's little girl.

My Hero

You were always caring, willing to jump if I fell
You bent over backwards to give me what I wanted even if we couldn't afford it
You fought to get me a good education
Mom, you're my hero
Through my times of sorrow you were always there with a shoulder for me to cry on
You told me that things would work out in their own way
When Stefi died you felt the same sorrow and pain that I did
You cried with me till I cried myself to sleep
You helped me through all my stages in life and the challenges they brought with
You told me not to fall into the wrong crowd; even though I did you were right there
To pull me out before it was too late
So this is to you mom for helping me realize how great life is
There is more to it then what it seems, you just have to dig deeper
I love you mom, you're my hero

Firefighters

My own personal hero is the firefighters that go out for their job or volunteering and risk their lives to save others. Ever since I was a kid I wanted to be a firefighter because of the help I would be giving to the people. I like a person to look at me as someone that helps other people at the cost of ultimately my life. In my point of view I see firefighters as the most extreme hero in the world; their work is so courageous and important that without them we would have many problems and a lot more deaths in the world. I know some volunteer firefighters that say that the satisfaction of the job is plenty for the pay. There aren't many jobs that say the work itself is enough pay for them. Volunteer firefighters have an even harder job than the ones that do it for a living. The volunteer firefighters have to do another job to make an income to live off of and on the side they save peoples' lives and risk their own for just the sense of accomplishment. Firefighters have a very important job and I hope someday I might be able to become my own hero and become a firefighter.

Mom

My hero is my mom. She is the perfect person to look up to. She would have done anything to help someone out. She was a hard worker, and worked for everything she had. She is my hero because I look up to her and I want to be just like her when I grow up.

Mother
My hero is my mom. She's a huge part of my life, and no matter what has gone wrong, or what mistakes I've made she's always been there for me. She also has not always had the best life. Her mom died of breast cancer when she was just twelve and she was left to take care of her four other siblings herself since her dad was an alcoholic. Even though the rest of her family were alcoholics and didn't really finish school, she prevailed to be the bigger person, to get married, go on to college to get her degree in early childhood development and have a family of her own. Through all the struggles she's been through she still comes out strong in the end. For this I admire her.

Grandpa
My hero is my grandpa. He's a very successful man; he has worked very hard and earned what he has today. He used to buy houses, fix them up and sell them for money. That seems easy, so I want to be like my grandpa and make easy money. That's why he is my hero.
