A hero to me is someone who gives advice. A hero is someone who picks you up when you fall down. A hero helps you when you're in danger. A hero is someone who supports you. A hero is very special to me.
        A hero to me is a firefighter. I like firefighters because they do good deeds. If your house is on fire, the firefighter will help you. If you're stuck in a car and the door can't open, call the fire department and they will help you with the Jaws of Life. Firefighters are also special because in the 9-11 attacks, firefighters all over the city came to rescue people from tower 1 and tower 2. When they went inside the towers they didn't think about saving their lives. They thought about saving people in the towers. Firefighters lose lives and save lives.

       The word hero means many things to me. One thing hero means is someone that you can go to for advice if you have any problems. For example, if you had a problem at school or any other situation. Next, a hero also means someone that you can look up to. Another thing I think a hero means is someone who you can trust and they won't tell your secrets. Lastly, a hero means someone who can have your back if something ever happens to you.
       My hero is my mother, Marlene John because even though she works hard she still takes out some of her time to do family events with everyone My mother is also my hero because if she goes to work and comes back tired she still checks my homework without falling asleep. Another reason why my mother is my hero is that she always has faith in me and never gives up on me. This is why my mother is my hero.

       A hero to me is a person who cares about you. A hero also means that they would want to help with everything. Around my neighborhood there are different types of heroes. They love to help people in different ways. My favorite hero in this neighborhood is the firefighters. They always come to rescue you. There is also another hero that I want to talk about. A doctor is also a hero. They help you get better when you are sick.
       My hero is my friend Shauna John because she shows me what true friendship is. She also knows what she is doing at times, like helping others and taking care of herself. When I am upset Shauna always knows a way to cheer me up. Shauna is also my hero because she helps me understand some confusing things.        There are many definitions for a hero. I think a hero can be anybody you want it to be. A hero can be your teacher, parents or friends. A hero does not need to be famous. Heroes are born in different ways.
        My heroes are my parents. I chose them because they feed me. They also give me shelter. They have been caring for me up until now. That's why they are my heroes.

       I am going to tell you what a hero is. A hero is someone that helps you out through bad times. They also give you care. For example, if you fall someone will help you up and take you to the nurse if you are seriously hurt. This is the definition of a hero.
        My hero is my mom. She is a loving mother. If I do not understand my homework she helps me and the next day I would sometimes get all the questions right on my homework. When I am sick she takes off from work and takes care of me. This is why my mother is my hero.

       To me a hero is someone who you can talk to and share your feelings with. I also think a hero can be any age. For example, a little brother can be a hero because he can be a person you can talk to and express your feelings with. This is what a hero is to me.
        My hero is my grandma because whenever I am having a certain problem, she is there to make me feel better. There was one time I told her that people would call me names because of a certain lunchbox. She told me as long as I know that I am doing the right thing, they can say whatever they want. My grandma also helps me with my homework and makes my second favorite meal which is a Caribbean food called Pelau. These are some reasons why my grandma is my hero.

       I think the word hero has many definitions to me. One thing it means to me is to risk your life for somebody else. For instance, when 9/11 happened many firefighters and regular people risked their lives for people in the Twin Towers. Also, a hero is someone who helps somebody else. For example, if a young man were to help an elderly person to across the street he would be her hero. If a man would fix your X- Box 360 he would your hero, right? Another thing is I think a hero is someone who you could trust. That's what I think a hero is.
        My hero is mom because she inspirers me to achieve my dreams. For example, one time when I wanted to be an actress my mom put me in an after-school drama class.        My definition of hero is someone that's always by your side, even if they're not expected. Someone who cares about you and would do anything for you. A special "someone" in your life.         My hero is my mom. She basically does everything for me. She cooks for me, she buys my clothes, and just like I said, she's a big part of my life. I don't know what I'd do without her.
