Chronology of John Lennon

Oct 9 1940- John is born in Liverpool. parents, Julia Stanley and Alfred Lennon. 1942-John is taken in by his mother's sister, Mimi. 1946-John starts school at Dovedale Primary. 1952- John enters Quarrybank school. 1956-John,16 years old,is introduced to Paul McCartney,14. 1957-John attends Liverpool Art College, along with Cynthia Powell. 1960-John forms the Beatles and they visit Hamburg. Aug 23 1962- John marries Cynthia. Mar 7 1963- Please Please me is released in England. Mar 23 1964-John's book In His Own Write is published. Apr 18 1964-Julian Lennon is born. Aug 19/Sept 21 1964-the Beatles 1st USA and Canadian tour. Oct 26 1965- Beatles get thier M.B.E.'s from the Queen. Aug 27 1967- Brian Epstien dies of drug overdose in London. July 1 1968- John's first Art Exibition, You Are Here. Mar 20 1969-John marries Yoko Ono in Gibraltar and have thier Bed-in for peace.
