Hanson's Van
The true story of Rob's Girls

It all started the morning of December 9th that I went to
the building that they were filming Regis & Kathie Lee in hopes
that I might get a standby ticket so I could get in. No such luck.
To make a long story short, I met up with 2 cool girls, Nicole and
her equally cool best friend Karen.
We started talking as we waited for Hanson to exit the building
after the show in hopes of catching a glimpse of the awesome brothers.
Anyway, we were standing by the parking lot type thing and suddenly
a girl ran up to her friend screaming "That's Hansons van! Ahh!"
So in curiousity we went over to the van and it turned out to
be indeed Hanson's van! Of course they were not in it yet because
they were filming the show, but their driver was there and very amused at our
behavior. He gave away 2 Dr.Pepper cans (that were full) to this
one girl and her sis! So we stood at the van during the whole show
and talked to the driver and asked him questions. We found out his
name was Rob (thus forth "Rob's Girls!") and Nicole and Karen were
lucky enough to put these huge awesome plastic blow-up aliens inside
the van for Hanson and I put this letter I had written along with
pictures of myself! Anyway, all of Rob's Girls got a talkin' and
we all exchanged e-mail addy's and decided to keep in touch!
Okay, after we realized the show was over we went back over to
the "lot" and watched Rob back the van up in there and then
the "door" or whatever it's called that goes up and down to let the
cars in closed as Hanson got back in. Then it opened again and
Rob drove out with Hanson in the van that we put our hands all
over! (Not to mention when we were talking to Rob I leaned my
chin on the rearview mirror! hehe) Tay's hand was pressed against
the window and all the girls were jumping and screaming and
pressing their hands again his, and even though the windows
were tinted we could all see Tay smiling. Then they drove off
fast and some people started to chase the van. We were standing
there and realized they had stopped (red light) and we ran
after them too! It was hysterical and we were right next to the
van and I smiled and waved at Hanson as they looked at us through
the window, amused (or annoyed, ah, same thing). Then they drove
away and Nicole, Karen, her mom, and I all went to Starbucks
to get a hot chocolate and talked excitedly about the experience.
We found out later that the rest of Rob's Girls drove over to the
hotel and got to meet Hanson briefly. We were pretty bummed but we all know that
next time Hanson comes to NY, we'll be the first to meet them
at the hotel! VIVA ROB'S GIRLS!!!!! :-)
Unfortunatly I had no camera but all the rest of the girls did and
the pics that are on my page are Jen's!!
