Brownies- Ave. A between 10th and 11th St.
From Penn Station or Port Authority: N or R train to Union Square (at 14th St.). Walk East, you should pass 3rd Ave, then 2nd Ave, then 1st Ave, until you get to Ave. A. Walk down Ave. A. Brownies is Between 11th and 10th St.
From Grand Central: 4,5, or 6 train to Union Square. see above.

6 train to Bleeker (at Lafayette). Walk one block East on Bleeker to Bowery.

6 train to Astor place. Walk East to 3rd Ave. It's between St. Mark's Place and 9th St.

The Knitting Factory- 74 Leonard
6, N, or R train to Canal Street. You should either get out on Broadway or Lafayette in which case walk one block West, not including alleys, over to Broadway. Walk South on Broadway around 4 blocks to Leonard. The Knitting Factory is on the South side of Leonard between Broadway and Church.

Sound and Fury- Orchard Street between Houston and Stanton
F train to 2nd Ave at Houston. Walk East on the South side of Houston a few blocks. Orchard Street is the small street missing its street sign. 6 train to Bleeker and Lafayette. Walk South on Lafayette one block to Houston. See above.
