Amy's Cavern

Amy's Cavern welcomes you !!! New picture up! Yay! That's from the 8th grade prom last year. Its one of the better pictures I have ATM. I've got to rescan all my pics and make them smaller before I can put them in the gallery. Only about 3 of them are an okay size. Anywho!

SHOWS:

In the way of Annie, I got Artie (we renamed him Aretha because the directors didn't want to mix genders with parts and actors) and Judge Brandeis. It was pretty spiffy while it lasted. Now I'm in a new show, The Insanity of Mary Girard. I've got the part of Mrs. Hatcher... it's pretty cool. Its teh show we're doing for competition play. I'll add more later. Not motivated.

INSTRUMENTS:

Charlotte is my Tenor Sax. :) She's pretty cool. We had to do auditions for Jazz Band, and we're the official Tenor II, and the tenor that got the lowest score is our alternate. He keeps bragging about how wonderful he is and he sucks more than any of the other tenors. I'm 3rd chair in concert band and the teacher didn't know me when he decided. The guy playing my alternate is last chair out of the 5 there. It's tres pathetic. Anyhow, Charlotte and I auditioned for All-Aroostook and made it. :) I'm third chair out of the three tenors accepted. Pretty cool music. Celebration Fanfare, Sterling Brass, Seven Years in Tibet, and Forged In Fire. I like them.
Sondheim the piano was fun to see during Christmas break. He's one of the reasons I stayed in WInthrop the whole week. :) I wish I could have him up here in Presque Isle.

BAND:
It's going nicely. I got to miss the past to game band things because I was down in Winthrop during vacation. Woo! :) Makes me HAPPY! :) Anyhow, not really much to say in regards of band. We've got a couple new songs... Flight of the Pegasus and Variations on a Korean Folk Song... both of which I like and the other tenors don't. Pretty funny. Anyhow, I'll update later.
